Accumulated Pete wisdom

For now, these gems:

To a man, anything not "no" is "yes".
Sometimes "no" is "yes".

To see who owns a thing, break it, and see who comes to fix it.

"The unexamined life is not worth living."

Who's fucking around? Follow the money.

This last bit of wisdom was imparted upon me ( and a group of fellow Surveillance Agent trainees ) by the geat Jack Keenan, Former NJ State Police Detective and Casino Suerveillance Director-Rex. He was talking about crime at a gaming table in a casino, but his words applied to the cage, slots machines, and indeed many aspects of life beyond the casino.

Ever see something, and wonder who on God's Green Earth would do such a thing, or why? There's almost always something of value at the heart of it. Most often money, but sometimes it's something else. Who's at the heart of it? Who's fucking around? Follow the money. It will always lead you, like a compass.

More wisdom as I get it. This isn't all I have, but let's not gorge ourselves on wisdom, okay? : )
