An interesting article about cancer and the cancer industry; publicly endorsing prevention but here called out for maybe not doing so. What I really know ( as fact ) I could put into a thimble and still have room left over... but it's a bit disconcerting.

As it happens, lately I am more and more disgruntled about life here in the US. I know this was a sensitive topic between you and I last year... and likely for dumbdumb reasons that could have been avoided ( maybe by both of us, but definitely by me ).
I am still very much in line with the Ideals of the country... the ones they make movies about and many sort of carry around in a collective unconscious, the propaganda. I knew last year that this was an imperfect place, certainly... but had potential. I was optimistic.
I am no longer quite so optimistic, and am having a very tough time enumerating the good things about our country; the far off stuff, or the day-to-day stuff. Whether it's the govt and our way of life, our healthcare, or whatever. Not too much to be proud of anymore, it
seems.
Anyway, this has been kind of trending in me lately. this article certainly wasn't the cause of it, or even the straw that broke the camel's smile. But I wanted to share, and apologize ( yet again, bleh ) for things I said that must have rubbed you raw, back when.
Hope your day is going well...
