I haven't posted in a while... but there's been lots that has gone on. to summarize:
- Moved to Hawaii
- Kept the same job, doing it from here
- Worked out things with a girl I know here
- on Kauai now, with friends, getting my feet under me.
That's it, in a nutshell. There's much more to all of this, but it's something like 1123pm here, and I like to get up early. So I'll be brief.
I wear slippahs, not shoes. Eff shoes. I have a new bike, and no car. This means I have at least a coupe things in common now with Andy, the guy from the 40 Year Old Virgin moive. That's a blog entry in itself, the commonalities between that character and myself.
I get up at 5am most days, which is now 10am CST. I already have many emails at this time, and wake up early only to play catch up for the next few hours or so. I have had to refine my dream of getting out of the office... I have achieved that dream, the world is now my office; I can work wherever.
Having done that for a week and a half, I've decided that the New Dream is to have an office that I can blow off whenever I feel like it. As it turns out, having an office -somewhere- isn't really a bad thing. It's just the part about being chained to it that's not good. I'm working on this as we speak.
I am also working on ( slowly but surely ) setting up a pacific rim office of Sway. This involves lots of paperwork, finding revenue streams, grant writing, and getting to know the movers in Hawaii's small biz environment. I'm up for it.

Hmmmmm. I might have to rethink that particular part. No worries... I have time. Anyway, I am still here, still writing, and still looking to develop myself. I'm making contacts in the gaming community here on Kauai, and that is good. I'd also like to start playing remotely. Now that I've started to get some of my friends involved with Skype, remote gaming might be the next step, eh?
